PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT - Must complete the following:

●     5-minute Run

●     150 Jumping Jacks

●     1-minute Plank

●     75 Squats

●     40 Push-ups

POOMSAE - Memorize and refine the following form: Taeguek Oh-jang (#5) and Taeguek #1 - #4

HAND TECHNIQUES - Know basic blocking techniques (down block, inside-middle block, high block, hammer fist)

  • Down block

  • Inside-middle block

  • High block

  • Single knife hand

  • Double knife hand

  • Hammer fist

  • Straight punches

BOARD BREAKING - Step Turning Back Kick and Tornado Kick

SPARRING SKILLS - Be ready to show these skills in sparring

●     30 second aggression, 30 second defense

●     Turning Back Kick counter against Roundhouse Kick (in match)

●     Cut kick outside of match on shield

●     Clinch in the match

●     Sparring Rounds: 3 (1 min.)
